Green New Deal Pledge

We delivered the petition on Monday, December 9!

Pasadena’s Climate Action Plan, adopted in March 2018, does not go far enough. Unlike the Green New Deal, the Pasadena CAP does not call for 100% renewable energy in the City of Pasadena.

Tell Pasadena City Council members Tyron Hampton (District 1), Margaret McAustin (District 2), John J. Kennedy (District 3), Gene Masuda (District 4), Victor M. Gordo (District 5), Steve Madison (District 6), and Andy Wilson (District 7) that they need to step up and support a Green New Deal both locally and federally, not accept over $200 from anyone in the fossil fuel industry, and prioritize our health, climate, and democracy. Without their pledge, we will not be able to trust them with our futures.
